Owners and commission — Rentibly How-to

Hey, and welcome to this Rentibly how-to: owners and commission. Our Denver loft has two owners — let's set up who owns what, and what you earn. Here's what we'll cover — the chapter times are right here, and in your player. Let's get started. Who owns this home, and what do you earn from it?

That's the Owners tab, under Configurations. Sofia Scott is already set up: she owns sixty percent, your commission is twenty percent, and she's paid monthly. See the warning? Ownership adds up to sixty, not a hundred — because Sofia has a co-owner.

Let's add him. Add Owner. Search your owner contacts — leads show up too, and picking one turns them into an owner. Noah Nelson. Forty percent. The commission is already set: it's the property's rate, and each owner pays it on their own share. Paid monthly, starting today. And tick this box if the owner pays the guest taxes themselves. Add Owner.

A hundred percent, and the warning's gone. Each owner shows their share, your commission, how often they're paid, and since when. Need to change the commission later? Schedule rate change: pick the date it starts and the new rate. Stays checking in from that date use it — even ones already booked — and earlier stays keep the old rate. We'll cancel that for now.

One more thing: adding an owner doesn't email them. Their owner portal access is a switch on their contact — and their commission and share flow straight into owner statements.
