Hey, and welcome to this Rentibly how-to: how a guest's price is built. We'll take one real quote apart, line by line — from the nightly rent to the payment schedule. Here's what we'll cover — the chapter times are right here, and in your player. Let's get started.
Every price a guest sees is built the same way, step by step. Let's take one real quote apart: Harper's five nights at Aqua Tower 6E, in November next year. First, the rent. Each night is priced on its own — from the price list for the channel the booking comes from: a price exception if there is one, otherwise a season, otherwise the base rate — then any rate adjustment on top. Here, five nights at nine hundred and five dollars: four thousand five hundred and twenty-five.
Next, discounts — if one applies, say for a long stay — and then fees: a one-hundred-and-sixty-dollar cleaning fee. Then taxes: the twelve percent occupancy tax, charged on the rent plus any taxable fees — five hundred and forty-three dollars. Total: five thousand two hundred and twenty-eight.
The security deposit sits outside the total: seven hundred and fifty dollars, refundable seven days after check-out. And the earnings estimate shows where the money goes — the owner's share, your company's, and the tax that's passed on.
Then how it's paid. This quote takes a thirty percent deposit now, and the balance closer to arrival; the security deposit is collected separately. You choose this on each quote — pay in full, a deposit and a balance, or your own installments. And the cancellation policy that comes with it — Moderate — copied onto the quote, so later changes to the policy never change what this guest agreed to.
Thanks so much for watching! If you're already on Rentibly, open any quote and read it line by line — every number traces back to your pricing rules. And if you're not on Rentibly yet, book a demo call, and we'll show you all of this, live.
