Hey, and welcome to this Rentibly how-to: price lists for each channel. We'll create a second price list, mark it up, give it to Booking.com — and check exactly what each channel now charges. Here's what we'll cover — the chapter times are right here, and in your player. Let's get started.
A price list is a full set of prices for one home — base rates, seasons and exceptions. Every home starts with Default. Make another, and you can charge differently depending on where the booking comes from — say, more on Booking.com, to cover its commission.
Plus New. Give it a name. Start from a blank list, or a copy of one you already have — then adjust every price by a percentage: fifteen percent up here, or a negative number to go down. Leave it blank for an exact copy. Create.
The new list is now open. Every price is fifteen percent higher, and rounded to a whole number. Seasons came across too. You can edit this list on its own from now on — it no longer follows Default.
Now tell Rentibly which channel sells from it. Under Channel pricing, set Booking.com's price list to the new one. Airbnb and Vrbo always sell from Default. You can also add a markup percentage per channel — leave it blank to follow the channel's default. And the long-stay ticks: whether each channel uses your weekly and monthly prices, or charges the nightly price for every night.
Let's check it — the same five nights in November. Direct, the website and Airbnb still sell from Default: six thousand nine hundred and seventy-five dollars. Booking.com now uses its own list — eight thousand and twenty.
Thanks so much for watching! If you're already on Rentibly, open a property's Rates tab and give your OTAs their own price list. And if you're not on Rentibly yet, book a demo call, and we'll show you all of this, live.
Charge differently depending on where the booking comes from: create a price list, copy and mark it up, assign it to a channel, and check the result. Shown live on a real Rentibly workspace.
