Hey, and welcome to this Rentibly how-to: booking rules. We'll set how long, and how far ahead, guests can book a home, who it suits, and the house rules — and see exactly where those rules are enforced. Here's what we'll cover — the chapter times are right here, and in your player. Let's get started.
Booking rules decide which stays a home will take. They're on the property's Booking Rules tab — the policy that applies, how long and how far ahead guests can book, who the home suits, and the house rules the booking sites show. Edit. First, the cancellation policy for this home — or follow the account default — and the rental agreement that goes with new quotes.
Then the stay rules. A maximum stay — sixty nights. Minimum advance notice: no bookings less than twenty-four hours before arrival. Which days guests can arrive and leave — none selected means any day. How far ahead they can book — a year. And a changeover gap, if you need nights free between bookings for cleaning; blank allows back-to-back stays.
Minimum stay isn't here — it's set with your rates, so it can change by season. Next, who the home suits: the lead guest's minimum age, maximum adults and children — and whether pets, smoking, events and infants are allowed, with a note for each.
And the house rules shown on the booking sites: curfew, quiet hours — ten at night till eight in the morning — whether guests need ID at check-in, parking, and what you expect at checkout. Save.
Where do the rules apply? On your website and booking widgets, a stay that breaks them can't be booked at all. When you build a quote yourself, Rentibly warns you — and you can override it. And the stay rules are sent to the channels you're connected to.
Thanks so much for watching! If you're already on Rentibly, open each property's Booking Rules tab and make sure they match how you work. And if you're not on Rentibly yet, book a demo call, and we'll show you all of this, live.
